Outpatient Appointments
Our nearest hospital outpatient clinics are the following:
When a patient is referred for a second opinion or further treatment,
they may be seen by the specialist at one of the above clinics for initial consultation.
Patient Choice
You will be offered a choice when you are referred to hospital. The surgery has information about
the local hospitals and their services as well as leaflets about
'Choosing Your Hospital'.

X-rays
A walk in service is provided at the following hospitals for plain x-ray procedures, e.g. chest, spine and limbs.
For ultrasound scans, the doctor sends a referral request to the hospital and an appointment is sent to
the patient’s address usually within 4 weeks time.
Physiotherapy
The physiotherapy department is based at
Frimley Park Hospital and
Farnham Hospital. Be aware that there is typically a waiting period of a several
weeks (and can be up to 12 weeks) before you get an appointment.
Domiciliary physiotherapy (for housebound patients) is based at the Fleet Hospital.
Phlebotomy services (blood tests)
There is a walk-in phlebotomy clinic in the Outpatient Department at the Aldershot Centre for Health on Level 1 during
the following hours: Mon – Fri
8:30am – 4:30pm

Patient Transport Request
Transport is only available for patients who require ambulance transport because of their medical condition.
Dial-a-ride is able to
transport patients with
disabilities. Please ask if
you are unsure whether you meet the criteria for ambulance transport.
Patients able to travel by car or public transport are expected to make their own arrangements.
