Welcome to Victoria Practice

We are a friendly practice with 5 Doctors (2 full-time and 3 part-time) and a team of highly skilled Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and allied health professionals. We look after over 8,000 patients in the Aldershot area and our aim is to provide accessible, high quality acute and chronic medical services. We moved to the Aldershot Centre for Health in August 2008 and we share the centre with 2 other GP practices, Frimley Park Hospital Outpatients, the MOD and Hampshire PCT. There is also an onsite Pharmacy, Rowlands, walk-in phlebotomy clinics, a fully equipped X-ray department and physiotherapy services.

We have put together a new website to help you find out about us and the services that we offer. Whether you are looking to join our practice, or whether you are already a patient, we hope you will find the site easy to use and full of helpful information.

We offer an advanced access appointment system and also try to see patients on the same day if the matter is more urgent. We offer a number of pre-bookable appointments for those patients who wish to book ahead with non-urgent medical problems.

We would value any feedback that you feel would help us make our website and services better. We are always striving to improve the quality of services we offer and thereby improve the health of our practice populations.

Out of Hours

Frimley Primary Care Service provides you with urgent medical care when the surgery is closed from 18.30 to 08.00 hours on Monday through to Friday and all day and night at the weekends and Public Holidays.

If you do become ill during these times, such that cannot wait until your surgery re-opens you can phone the service on:

0118 936 5649

A call handler will ask you for some brief details about yourself and the nature of your problem. One of the doctors or nurses will then phone you back and discuss your problem. Please note that all the calls are recorded for patient safety.

Other sources of health information and advice when the surgery is closed include:

  • NHS Direct on 0845 4647 or visit their website
  • Local pharmacies are a great source of help and advice on common ailments and minor medical problems.
  • Patient UK website

999

Please think carefully before dialing 999 or using the local A & E departments. These services are ONLY for people who are seriously ill or injured. Frimley Primary Care Service will advise you if they feel you need to attend Accident and Emergency, but in the main they can deal with most medical problems quickly and efficiently.
